After the words “access to” insert the words “the Labour Court and the industrial relations machinery of same”. Delete the words “other alternatives”.
Proposed amended motion would then read:
“That Conference directs the Central Executive Committee to withdraw from Conciliation and Arbitration and seek access
to the Labour Court and the industrial relations machinery of same”.

6.Services
The services and schemes promoted and supported by the Association shall only be available to fully paid up members and
associate members of the Association.
Proposed Amendment
Delete the following sentence
“The services and schemes promoted and supported by the Association shall only be available to fully paid up members and
associate members of the Association. and replace with:
“In order to avail of the services and schemes administered by the Association for e.g. Group Members Life Assurance
Scheme, GRA Group Critical Illness Scheme etc. a member must be:
a) a fully paid up member of the Garda Representative Association
b) on the day of promotion a member of the relevant scheme.
c) a fulltime member of a recognised staff association in An Garda Siochana thereafter on promotion.”
