acceptance recommended of Labour Relations Commission proposals Fri. 17.05.13
Following intensive discussions chaired by Mr. Kieran Mulvey, Chief Executive LRC from Thurs 9th May to Sun. 12th May, with representatives of all 4 Staff Associations, of the Garda Commissioner and of the Dept. of Justice present, agreement in principle has been reached on proposals to find savings in the Garda budget whilst  maintaining the GRA position that members’ pay, premia & allowances must be protected. The Association's Executive Committee, at a meeting held on Tuesday 14th May 2013, decided to recommend acceptance of these proposals on a ballot of its membership.
